Mario Kurek
Transfer Pricing and Taxes
Mario is the managing director and tax advisor of PROBIS Tax s.r.o. He has been involved in taxes and accounting since 2009, achieving comprehensive skills across a diverse range of client portfolios from international corporations to individuals. After graduating from VUT in Brno, he gained significant work experience in international and local consulting companies such as Deloitte, Grant Thornton and Warido, as well as in manufacturing companies such as Pfizer, Akzo Nobel and Kofola. With his team, he also provides processing of transfer pricing documentation and expert opinions in this area. Additionally, he focuses on digitizing accounting and related processes, including integrating various systems, and participates in the development of Taxy.cz, a software for managing accounting and tax offices.
Kateřina Selníková
Legal Services
Kateřina is a partner and lawyer at PROBIS Legal v.o.s., law firm. After studying at the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague, she worked in a medium-sized international consulting group and subsequently as an independent lawyer. Kateřina focuses on corporate, commercial, and labor law. Her specialization also includes transformations and creation of holding structures, as well as optimization of business models with emphasis on legal compliance. As part of her practice, she has audited the internal setup and functioning of legal departments for large and medium-sized enterprises for clients.
Václav Mareš
Audit Services
Václav is a member of the Board of Directors at PROBIS Audit a.s. He specializes in audits of larger companies and economic consulting. After graduating from the University of Economics in Prague, he gained experience working for an international Big Four audit firm. Václav is a licensed auditor with KAČR authorization number 2365, a certified tax advisor with KDPČR certification number 4901, and a member of the British ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). Among his most notable projects is the IFRS consolidation of a holding with over 50 companies. Václav was also part of the team preparing a company’s IPO on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and was responsible for the financial aspects of a capital restructuring for a holding company with assets exceeding 5 billion CZK. Additionally, Václav participated in several transactions involving companies with a transaction value of around 1 billion CZK. He is fluent in Czech and English and has a passive knowledge of Polish.
Andrzej Branny
Legal Services
Andrzej is a partner and lawyer at PROBIS Legal v.o.s., law firm. After studying at the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University in Brno, Pan-European University in Bratislava, and a study stay in France at Aix-Marseille University at the Faculty of Law and Political Science, he worked in a medium-sized international law firm providing general practice. Subsequently, he collaborated for several years with HAVEL & PARTNERS s.r.o., law firm, where he specialized in corporate law, services for private clients, litigation, and Polish clientele. Andrzej specializes in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructuring of business groups. He also deals with civil law, beneficial ownership issues, and employee stock plans.
Martina Zbončaková
Transfer Pricing and Taxes
Martina is a tax advisor at PROBIS Tax s.r.o. After completing her master's degree in Finance at VŠB-TU Ostrava, she worked as a Tax Consultant and later as a Tax Manager in a significant consulting group, focusing primarily on transfer pricing issues (preparing transfer pricing documentation, opinions, and internal guidelines related to transfer prices) and international taxation, which she continues to do. In addition to these areas, Martina focuses on providing comprehensive tax advice in the field of personal and corporate income taxes, value-added tax, and property taxes.
Klára Havala
Audit Services
Klára works at PROBIS Audit a.s. as an Audit Manager. During her time at PROBIS Audit a.s., Klára has gained experience primarily by participating in audit projects for large manufacturing and trading companies. Currently, Klára is responsible for leading audit teams. In addition to her expertise in accounting, Klára is also ready to provide clients with advice in the field of taxation. Klára is a certified tax advisor and a member of the Chamber of Tax Advisors of the Czech Republic.
Petra Snášelová
Audit Services
Petra is an Audit Manager at PROBIS Audit a.s. with more than 15 years of experience in accounting, financial systems, and auditing. She leads audit projects either independently or as part of a team. She has extensive experience in the implementation of accounting information systems, particularly for manufacturing companies, and has provided consultancy in accounting and controlling. Previously, Petra worked as an IS Consultant in accounting at ITeuro, a.s., where she was responsible for system implementation and led the customer support team. Her experience also includes managing accounting for non-profit organizations and preparing tax returns. Petra holds several professional certifications, including IFRS Specialist and Accounting Expert (Level 2).
Lucie Mertová
Audit Services
Lucie holds the position of Audit Manager at PROBIS Audit a.s. She oversees audit engagements, leads various teams, and despite her managerial role, she enjoys working with audit methodology. She has been involved in accounting and taxation since high school. She further deepened her knowledge by studying Accounting and Taxation at the Faculty of Economics of the Technical University of Ostrava. Lucie began gaining experience in auditing during her studies, working for an international audit firm from the so-called Big Four, where she participated in audits of major manufacturing companies in the Moravian-Silesian Region. Currently, Lucie is actively pursuing professional development and taking auditing exams with the Chamber of Auditors of the Czech Republic.
Jaroslav Juříček
Audit Services
Jaroslav is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in audit and accounting. After graduating from the Faculty of Economics at VŠB-TU Ostrava, he began his career as an external accountant. Within two years, he acquired expertise in financial accounting and tax matters and then moved into audit as an assistant auditor, gaining in-depth knowledge of audit processes, internal controls, and reporting for major clients. From his position as an assistant auditor, Jaroslav worked his way up to Audit Manager, where he is currently responsible for leading audit teams, ensuring the quality and progress of audit engagements, and communicating with clients across various sectors. Among his most significant clients are large manufacturing companies with revenues in the billions of CZK.
